After high school I went to college at UW Oshkosh, and graduated in Elementary Education. I came home and found a job teaching in LaGrange, IL. When I was teaching I went to school at night to get my masters in curriculum instruction. I was also dating my husband to be. We got married and have been together for twelve years. After having my first child in 1998 I decided to be a stay at home mom. I now have three children. I have been keeping up my teaching by tutoring at night. I have stayed active since high school. In college I played tennis. Some of my hobbies are downhill skiing, hiking, running, biking, and reading. The one sport that takes up most of my time is running. I ran my first Chicago Marathon last year and qualified for Boston. I ran Boston in 3:21 and now I am planning to run Chicago again. I have been coming in 1st and second in my age group and I am really enjoying it.
