Kristen Witt (Bray)

I have to admit that I am kinda jealous. For you see, Steve and I would love to do our will, but honestly, we really don't have a clue as to who will take care of our kids. Remember, we have 4 kids. So, that is a lot to take on. And most of the people we know already have 2 or more kids, so that would be a LOT for someone to handle. Plus, it just seems like we haven't met the type of person who would raise our kids the way that we would like to see them raised. So, we have put off doing a will which I know is not a good thing. Now, that Jake is here, and we shouldn't be having any more kids, we will start thinking about who our kids will live with if something happens to us.

Vicky -- I would love to come in with you, and I appreciate the offer to bring my kids. The problem would be that I don't have anyone to watch the kids while we were in town. :(

It is starting to look like we won't be coming in after all. Steve just got home tonight from a business trip (gone for 4 days) and he has been traveling a lot here lately. He has to go out of town next week, and it is looking like he won't come home until Thursday or Friday. He just doesn't feel like coming home and then getting in a car and traveling all weekend. I think that he would just like to stay home for a while, which I can't say that I blame him. We will see what happens with his schedule. If his trip gets cancelled, then we will probably come in town. UGH!!!!!!!!

Hey, whatever happend to Amy Wilhelm? Has she turned into a ghost reader? :) Hello, Amy --- are you out there? Where are you?

Greg --- thanks so much for the dedication. I love that song. But, to be honest, I love the song "ooh, ooh, ooh, I love you...Girl, you know it's true...ooh, ooh, ooh, I love you!" Sing it for me, baby!

Ok, so Mrs. Thang (AKA Kelly) won't tell us her 1st concert bc she is embarrassed about it, right? She did say it was a boy group, so we need to think of boy bands that we would make fun and never admit we went to see. Just like Kelly is doing now!!!! Everyone think along the lines of Sha-na-na bc she said that was close. Kelly- We will figure this out sister!
Could it have been Donny & Marie Osmond/Osmond Brothers, Sonny and Cher, Barry Manalow, Andy Gibb and his bro.s? If it's any of those I will be so jealous.

Kelly- Sorry you were feeling sad last night. You should have called me. I was awake. I'm thinking about picking up the 11 to 7 shift at the local 7-11 since I'm always awake during that time anyway. By the way, do you really have a 40 lb Poodle? Your Poodle would make a great Tanner for Halloween. Just tease the hair out until all you see is the nose and waa-laa, there you have it.

Trina- I don't think there is a thing wrong with getting lost in downtown Rke., especially since I do it too. All these 'use to be one ways are now both ways' and blah, blah, blah. And then they go and add this gigantic, crazy looking building that completely messed w/ my intuitive direction neurotransmitter (thats a chemical in the brain ya know). That's my excuse anyway.

Kelly-All the Chippendale Shows you attended as a kid, as well as recently, do not count as concerts you know, nor do the Ice Capades. Gosh, I loved the Ice Capades. That's what we should have done with our lives, become one of those iceskating chics with the big feathered costumes.

Goodnight all!

Kelly- Ooops! You mean you have a 50 lb Poodle? What the @#$%?! Is it a standard poodle or what? I've dressed Tanner as Alf and Fraggle Rock in the past. This year, still undecided. Come to think of it, I may just dress him like a poodle. All I need to do is tighten his curls a bit and he is good to go.

You guys are so sweet with your kind words. Thanks a million for them and I'm so sorry about the loved ones that you've lost. Life and death is so unfair sometimes.

Okay...READ MY LIP SYNCH: no milli vanilli

Also...no Boy George or Cher or Gibbs brothers.

Hint: famous father who died when we were in high school

I can't believe I'm going to have to divulge my secret concert. I'm feeling queezy now. I'm going to have to go to Homecoming in cognito.

I'll catch up to ya'll when I reach Alleghany County in a bit.

And Stef...50 pound red standard poodle who is dumber than a bag of mulch

Chris - Vicky is right about where to live in the VB area and Vicky I loved the jets too! Of course I'm biased being from the Navy and all. I don't know if you have been to VB lately but it has changed a lot since we were kids. It's actually pretty nice now. They are taking down a lot of the fleabag hotels and putting up nicer establishments along Atlantic and out off of Virgina Beach blvd they built a real nice commercial area with a Ruths Chris and Cheesecake factory. Good luck with your move and let us all know when you get settled. I'm sure we would all love to come visit for the weekend. Just make sure you have room for 50 or so guests including some 4 legged kind.

Stef - Don't take the 7-Eleven job! We would miss your late night comments. Unless you can take your laptop to work with you then it would be OK. I would love to come by for a free slurpee. We need more 7-Elevens in this town!

Kristen - You're welcome. The only problem with all of these songs is I get a new one stuck in my head everyday!

I agree with everyone on putting affairs in order. In fact with the recent changes in our economy I've had to change my will. It now includes a treasure map of the back yard with X marks to show where I burried all of the mason jars full of penny's. Well it's not like I could keep the money in the stock market anymore! :-)

Kelly - Roy Orbison? The Beach Boys?

Kelly - Ricky Nelson?

Kelly...Wham??

OMG. I'm getting light-headed. Can someone else please divulge some corny concerts so I don't feel so badly?

Greg T-Since you & your family went to Streets at Southpoint, did you dine at The Cheesecake Factory? A few months ago a few of my friends & I took our girls shopping there. It was one of the friends birthday & she said for us to go to Chili's. The group had to overrule her even though it was her birthday because we all wanted to go to The Cheesecake Factory.

Stefanie-You really do stay up late. I was up until a bit after midnight last night. Mike had two friends to spend the night from out of town-they are going to the Outer Banks today. We sat outside on our patio that has a firepit in the middle. The only thing is now my bedroom smells like campfire smoke because the clothes were on the floor all night.

I am off to return/exchange some things I bought last week & do errands.

8 days left until Homecoming Blast Weekend!

Greg...they seem to have a lot of 7-elevens in the VB/Norfolk area! When my hubby was being deployed from there, I took the kids in several of them for slurpees over that weekend...ya know...to keep them (and me) cheered up. Is there anything a cherry slurpee can't make better?!

Kelly...I saw Cyndi Lauper once. I am thinking...give us more time...we can get this!

Kristin Fisher (Rush)

Kelly - Michael Jackson? He had a famous father, not sure if he died (or still alive for that matter) while we were in high school or not.

10/09/08 12:25 PM #653

Kristin Fisher (Rush)

The beach boys?

10/09/08 12:35 PM #654

Kristin Fisher (Rush)

I got it!!!

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees. And people say we monkey around. But we're too busy singing. To put anybody down.

A relative has already been mentioned. Just shout out the name of the group and get it over with!

Vicky Lakes (Fuller)

Kelly - was it the "New Edition" in 1984?

10/09/08 01:27 PM #657

Vicky Lakes (Fuller)

or Hanson?

10/09/08 01:31 PM #658

Greg Terry

The Jackson Five?

10/09/08 01:44 PM #659

Hank Williams, Jr.? (Bocephus)

10/09/08 01:58 PM #661

Greg Terry

The Bee Gees?

Has anyone seen Jolee? I haven't seen anything out here from her since yesterday morning. Jolee don't make us put you on the back of a milk carton.

10/09/08 02:11 PM #662

Kelly Houston

I'm leaving Low Moor in 2 minutes, and when I get to my Fincastle office...this mystery better be solved.

Bocephus?? Oh my.

Not country. Not pop. Not disco.

Their opening act yelled, "Hey everybody here in Roanoke, West Virginia!!!"

I'm seriously having anxiety over this. How did this get started, anyway? I think it's Stefanie's fault.

I need Faye's Pez/ xanax.

On the road again...

10/09/08 02:27 PM #663

Greg Terry

AC/DC?

Blue Oyster Cult?

Kiss?

10/09/08 03:04 PM #664

Kelly Houston

I wish.

Nope.

No kiss.
