I'm back! Whheeewww! Rick had a break in between shows, came into town and uhh, well, you know the rest (Faye, if you don't, I will explain it to you later).
The big man boss was in town this week and I was buzzzy, buzzzy, buzzzy! I knew if I got on the site I would be on til 3 a.m. I've got to be on all 10 toes when he's around. I'd say I was on 8-9 toes so that's pretty good.
DJ GT-I asked off for the HC Game so you'll have to come into the "eleven" (that's what we employees call it)another night for the slurpee. I will be at the game Friday night. Oh and the NHS 88 Bearskin rugs are ready and they are complimentary. They look great! I think once you see them you will want more for your home. What about draping one that says "The Terrys" across your front door? Think about that and let me know.
Is anyone participating in the SPCA Dog Walk this Sat.? Jolee, are you? It starts at Elmwood and circles downtown. Let me know if anyone is planning to attend. It doesn't start til 2 p.m. so that's plenty of time to recoop after Fri. night.
So, if it is raining at 5:30-6, are we not going to the game at all? I hope to go to the game, haven't been in 20 years. Jolee- I say we go to the NHS HC Dance and we won't embarrass Kinzie, we'll just act like we don't even know her. Greg, you need to be optimistic and interpret the chance of it NOT raining as 60%. That sounds better, don't ya think? Not only are you a DJ but you are a meteorologist too. You never cease to amaze me! What next? Please don't tell me you are an adult film star. I had heard that rumor but didn't really think it was true.
I have a couple suggestions for the Fri/Sat outings. Corned Beef has an extremely young crowd (early 20's and maybe some fake ID'ers too). There crowd now is the low hanging jeans w/ the boxer shorts hanging out and the 10 gold chains that resemble Mr.T. What do you all think about Blue 5 (Kerry Hurleys Bar), 202 Market St., or Metro? The crowds are somewhat young for the most part, but there's a greater mix of people. Martin's is good too. I've only been once for dinner and there was a young, local band that started playing around 10 p.m. All the sudden all these 21 yr. old supporters popped in. They looked 14. I felt like a grandmother. Great band though. Tony- Half moon was the band. You were probably working that night and I couldn't see you through all the smoke. I don't really care where we go, I just thought I'd throw that out there. I'll have fun anywhere.
Shannon- Don't worry, Rick knew weeks ago I was planning to go to the game. He was a bit upset bc he wanted me to join him for the remainder of his tour. I said "no way, I would rather see my classmates". He didn't like it but he'll get over it. We go through that all the time. He just can't get enough!
Kristen Fisher- Hey girl. Looking forward to seeing you. You should get your brother to come in for the HC Game. Tell your parents I said hello. They were so cool and I'm sure they still are.
Vicky- To answer your question about Rick's concerts. It sounds like he was here twice. I know I went in 82 and others have vivid memories of the concert in 85. I guess he tried to hide the 2nd concert from me bc I din't even know about it until we started reminiscing on the forum. He's gonna hear about this!
Ken H- Tailgating catered by males does not have to involve a grill darlin'. That's old school! Do you think women clean house and men mow grass too? ;)
Ok kidz, I'm turning in, I am spent! Only 40.5 hrs to go (too analytical? I call it detail oriented). Nite!
