I have an idea --- how come we cannot have 2 people running for President from the Democratic side, and 2 people running for President from the Republican side? How about those who are democratic but don't care much for Obama and would have voted for Hillary? And the same for the Republican side. Steve and I are finding ourselves in that situation. I won't give out our preference, but we mainly vote for one side, but we are not happy with the candidate. So, do we vote him in because that is our preference or do we go with the other person because they tend to show more of what we like to see? Just a question!!!!

Well you probably remember that from summer camps @ Mountain View (going WAAAAAAAAY back for that one) or maybe even because I hung out with your brother from time to time...

okay I will try to make this my last words (to give those who really want the subject changed a break) but here is the deal and I feel so passionate about this:

Okay my FEAR (and I am pretty fearless) would not allow me to vote for OBAMA. I could care less if he is a democrat, african american or liberal, he scares me and this is why.....he has been affliated with too many hate groups, too many associations with people who hate people and I do not want to give anyone a leadership position who can hate that much. As much as I do not like that man, we will probably be stuck with him and in 6-8 months I fear what will happen and those who vote for him may regret deeply their decision but IT is their decisioin and I respect that.

I am not thrilled with McCain but in my opinion he is the lesser of 2 evils. It comes down to this, I am a mother and I have fear of the future if this happens but I will deal with it. I am a conservative and I am not saying that is the right way it is my way I have liberal friends who I would die for and whom I love deeply it matters not to me their views but I cannot support anyone who hates or supports such hatred. I have seen much pain in life and I will not support someone who in my opinion is dangerous to our future. Maybe I will be back on here in a year saying I was wrong I hope so but I doubt it, I think it will be a tragedy for him to get it but people are so desperate to believe in him that they are going to vote for him maybe we should all take a stand and vote for an independent........I don't have all the answers but I think it is time for people to take back this country and put morals, ethics and values back in the system.

Keep that $20 Jolee to use for my tax bill I am going to send you when he raises them......I know most of the people once again using hollywood to prove my point....MIRAGE of an image that is not accurate and lord knows we have so many Hollywood people we can admire......(that is sacrastic....)

Oh wow Tony, I was just thinking about that the other day! Do you remember the Parks and Rec camps at the school where we just "hung out?" And there was that game we played...like pool, but with little green and red circular objects...I still have dreams about riding my bike around Mt. View, it was as if I was traveling around the world...those were some of my best childhood memories. Not the memories of being the family who got to go into the cafeteria after school and pick out the box of food that I had brought canned foods in for...I thought I was helping some hungry family...it hit me at age 6, that one of those families was mine. I was devastated. I remember being so embarrassed taking in the "free lunch ticket" form...but we were poor...so now, my mom drives a Hummer...has it pimped out...and I LOVE it! She deserves anything she wants.

And if you were hanging out with my brother...whew...he does have an eccentric point of view...I would let him know you asked about him...but I havent spoken to him in about 25 years. Michelle Weaver talks to him...he does have a myspace...I'm not one of his friends...

Okay, too tired to read all the political views...just finished walking in our annual Halloween parade with the cub scouts...I'm beat, we were 47th in the parade of about 65 groups/floats/firetrucks you name it.

But I did catch the Daniel Bond reply... yea I remember you going by Tony, I also remember the many games of kick ball that was held in your cul-de-sac when we stayed with your neighbors...I remember their wirey little dog named Wiggles as well. Now that is a stretch, as we are going back to Kindergarten / First Grade...and I have a hard time remembering what I was doing when I walk into a room.

McGranpa is starting to get confused. They need to have these debates earlier but not too early because we don't want John to miss the early bird special. Also, not on Tuesday because most places offer a Senior Citizens discount on Tuesday and we don't want John missing out on a good deal.

Sorry Turbo I had too. Johnny looks like a crazed man tonight and he is a little confuses. This is coming from someone who is a Navy vet and we take care of our own but John is a little out there right now. If he talks to Joe the plumber one more time I'm going to snap.

Kristen WB - If you want me to get your t-shirt and cd for you let me know. Don't mind bringing it back up North for ya. One less thing Carla will have to worry about mailing.

Perhaps it's a good thing I missed the debates.

Oh, and Greg, yea, it's probably a good thing you don't have a little girl...it's killing my husband having three in the house, one that's dating and one that seems to be the magnet to talk to at football games. I don't even want to imagine what it will be like when my 5 year old hits that age.

Greg,
I just turned the volume up...I had it muted while I was trying to get the mass email out...but man, he does look "wired." A little manic looking. It's the wide eyes and the weird smile that I'm not understanding.

Damn Vicky... That is going back pretty far...

If you guys are going to Martin's Saturday night, you may want to make sure you have some reservations as they get pretty busy on Saturday nights.

I'm trying Tony...I put a survey out there...we definitely need reservations if there are a bunch of us...or we'll be going to K&W!

Just curious because the band will start @ 10pm and anyone who is coming in for dinner and staying for the band usually come in between 7 and 8...

I'm back! Whheeewww! Rick had a break in between shows, came into town and uhh, well, you know the rest (Faye, if you don't, I will explain it to you later).

The big man boss was in town this week and I was buzzzy, buzzzy, buzzzy! I knew if I got on the site I would be on til 3 a.m. I've got to be on all 10 toes when he's around. I'd say I was on 8-9 toes so that's pretty good.

DJ GT-I asked off for the HC Game so you'll have to come into the "eleven" (that's what we employees call it)another night for the slurpee. I will be at the game Friday night. Oh and the NHS 88 Bearskin rugs are ready and they are complimentary. They look great! I think once you see them you will want more for your home. What about draping one that says "The Terrys" across your front door? Think about that and let me know.

Is anyone participating in the SPCA Dog Walk this Sat.? Jolee, are you? It starts at Elmwood and circles downtown. Let me know if anyone is planning to attend. It doesn't start til 2 p.m. so that's plenty of time to recoop after Fri. night.

So, if it is raining at 5:30-6, are we not going to the game at all? I hope to go to the game, haven't been in 20 years. Jolee- I say we go to the NHS HC Dance and we won't embarrass Kinzie, we'll just act like we don't even know her. Greg, you need to be optimistic and interpret the chance of it NOT raining as 60%. That sounds better, don't ya think? Not only are you a DJ but you are a meteorologist too. You never cease to amaze me! What next? Please don't tell me you are an adult film star. I had heard that rumor but didn't really think it was true.

I have a couple suggestions for the Fri/Sat outings. Corned Beef has an extremely young crowd (early 20's and maybe some fake ID'ers too). There crowd now is the low hanging jeans w/ the boxer shorts hanging out and the 10 gold chains that resemble Mr.T. What do you all think about Blue 5 (Kerry Hurleys Bar), 202 Market St., or Metro? The crowds are somewhat young for the most part, but there's a greater mix of people. Martin's is good too. I've only been once for dinner and there was a young, local band that started playing around 10 p.m. All the sudden all these 21 yr. old supporters popped in. They looked 14. I felt like a grandmother. Great band though. Tony- Half moon was the band. You were probably working that night and I couldn't see you through all the smoke. I don't really care where we go, I just thought I'd throw that out there. I'll have fun anywhere.

Shannon- Don't worry, Rick knew weeks ago I was planning to go to the game. He was a bit upset bc he wanted me to join him for the remainder of his tour. I said "no way, I would rather see my classmates". He didn't like it but he'll get over it. We go through that all the time. He just can't get enough!

Kristen Fisher- Hey girl. Looking forward to seeing you. You should get your brother to come in for the HC Game.
Tell your parents I said hello. They were so cool and I'm sure they still are.

Vicky- To answer your question about Rick's concerts. It sounds like he was here twice. I know I went in 82 and others have vivid memories of the concert in 85. I guess he tried to hide the 2nd concert from me bc I din't even know about it until we started reminiscing on the forum. He's gonna hear about this!

Ken H- Tailgating catered by males does not have to involve a grill darlin'. That's old school! Do you think women clean house and men mow grass too? ;)

Ok kidz, I'm turning in, I am spent!
Only 40.5 hrs to go (too analytical? I call it detail oriented).
Nite!

Vicky --- If you don't mind picking the CD and t-shirt up for me, I would really appreciate it. Then, when you come into town, we can meet up to exchange and have lunch/dinner. I can send you a check out today (or send it to Dean and Carla) so you don't have to pay for it. Just let me know what you prefer.

Carla --- do I still have a med or large shirt? Sorry guys that I am the different one. I just thought that I could get more wear out of a t-shirt than a hoodie. I can always add a long-sleeve shirt underneath and I can wear it during spring/summer/and fall. :)

I didn't watch the candidates last night. Susie and I stayed on the phone for a while. It is great because she is in town and giving me the "low down" on what is going on instead of it being vice-versa. :)

Watch out you guys who are talking trash about McCain. Turbo will come out with fire coming out of her fingertips!!!! Get em' Faye. I don't care for either candidate but I like your passion!!!!!!!!
