Hello everyone, First I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, for those who do not know, I was involved in a head-on collision Harley vs.Jeep and yep I was on the Harley. I am at home now healing, compound fracture to left arm and soft tissue injuries. It is so nice to know that over the years we all have separated, but friendship and caring has endured. Troy-no apology needed here-I welcome a good philosophical discussion now & then. It was great to see you & you're welcome for the ride home-anytime my friend. Next time I see you, I'll tell you about going thru the sobriety checkpoint after we dropped you off. No joke, but a good story.

Barry~ I think people would be let down if I didn't make some small attempt to let the world know how you were doing. There have been lots of prayers and well wishes sent your way. I truly believe now with our class, when one is hurt, we all hurt. If I am ever in an accident or deemed medically incompetent...not just rationally incompetent like I am now, I pass this torch of concern to Faye..she is my GO TO girl...Vicky can assist and Trina will be there for back up...and yes, I am a nurse...so I do care deeply for others.

Erik~ I will tell Papa Bear hello for you...he thinks you are it on a stick...fo' sho! Would love to have you all come to Mangos on the 14th. We can get there early and get a table..I'm not about standing at a packed place...and I have been known to play a cowbell or sing back up so I need to be accessible (sp) to the stage...ha ha ha! Freal..hope anyone could make it down for the last blow out of the summer...and Erik...see ya on Facebook someday, right buddy?

Well thank you Jolee....did Debbie G tell you the story of the guy that approached us outside while we were waiting for Erik and Troy to leave last time we hung out? I am the momma bear what can I say? Now in life I find that I have reconnected with people who are unique, wonderful and hey we are all different but we are a class family so we stick up for one another no matter what......glad I can be a part and be among some of coolest people around who are on the cusp of 30 :) it is 30 this year right.........we are just babes in the woods right........

Glad you are alright Barry and take it easy now would you it's not like we are 18 again? be good to yourself.....

Well, break is over, off to buy some paint...my greatest past-time apparently..this round is for the older child...covering the dark purple with spruce pine..apparently she's going for the forest feel.

Barry -- so glad to hear that you are doing well. ALL of us were so concerned about you! Take good care of yourself.

Man, I really wish that I was in town because I could use a night out...especially the Mangos night sounds like it would be tons of fun. Special thank you goes to Vicky who promises me that she is going to get me out this Friday. I love my kids dearly, but 24/7 ALL summer long is starting to wear on me a little bit. Steve did take the kids outside for an hour last week so that I could clean. It's not Steve's fault --- its mine. I just don't take any time out for myself. Even if I go on a walk, I am usually taking the baby. I need to learn to let go and give myself permission to be by myself for an hour or so. I will work on that!

I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer. Our kids do not go back to school until Sept. 8th. I just can't believe how many kids are already back in school or starting next week. YIKES!

Hi All! We JUST got back from FLorida. 9.5 hours from start to finish...can you tell I drove all but the last hour?

As for Friday at Mangos...who else is coming besides Faye? And Faye, what is your plan? Johnny and I have three of his friends coming too so I want to save outdoor tables for whomever wants to come...they go quick usually. And yes, I am 30 with 9 years experience...LOVE THAT! But it's jut another day...no hooplah here...

Kristen - We are definately going out to dinner, and so help me if they sit us near a table full of kids...Carraba's sounds really good right now..only 2 more days. John and Zach have left for Boston, and Hannah is staying with Nannay thru the weekend..Abby is staying with a friend Friday night, and Jess is old enough to take care of herself...so I am a free woman until Sunday.. If only I didn't have to work..or we'd be making us a trip to Mango's Friday with the promise to be back by noon on Saturday :)

I am planning on coming Friday and I will happy to have anyone ride with me in the Faybemobile (pretty similar to the Batmobile but gets almost anywhere within 10 mins) so if you want a reserved seat let me know....I do have a friend that may accompany me and if it is a small crowd I will bring the car (because it almost drives as fast) someone else bring the gum (Jolee that crack for you........)

Once again a successful night, thanks Jolee for the invite down to the lake. Dee Dee has the pipes and it was a pleasure to hear her sing. Let's plan a lunch this week for all the peeps who could not come down to celebrate your B-day party at the lake so we can continue the festivities.......what day works for everyone?

Erik thanks for being the man to handle all the girls last night on the ride around town. You were the perfect gentleman! I appreciate you and Stef introducing me to the Texas Tavern (as a virgin to the place) next time I will try not to have customers thrown out...........OMG

Stef as usual it was so fun! You are a hoot and keep me laughing next time I will save the mother looks for home :)

Faye, Erik, and Stef~ I'm still a little upset and hurt with the text message saying Angelo, Greg Mistele, and Kelly Wells were on their way to meet up with us. You meanies! However, glad you all came out to the little lake part of the world. So did you all find a karaoke place? And nothing beats the Texas Tavern after a long night out. We definitely need to do lunch this week. What day works good for everyone? I go back to work on Wednesday....uggghhhhh.....so I may have faculty meetings scheduled out of my control...but I will know more this week. I'm pretty sure Thursday is out for me...but if you all can go, then by all means do.

And Faye, if you ever want to get a group together and hang out in De-dee's finished basement...she has microphone stands, the whole she-bang. She and I and our girls did it one night and had a BLAST...of course, there were many peach martinis involved.

Me and my aching head and body are getting ready to get on a Harley (I know..I'm crazy), and head to the NRV speedway for the race Papa Bear's company is sponsoring tonight...that should be interesting.

Yes after driving fast around the winding curves coming back from the lake and basically keeping them hostage until they cried mercy and said okay I have been promised by Stef and Erik to find a place for karoke. We did not find a place last night but it was not for lack of search after going everywhere downtown to find some happenings going on and ending up at the Tavern but it was still a great time. I am practicing my songs for that magical time when someone calls and says they have found the karoke place......I will await by the phone in hopes of that call.......lol.....on magical karoke night I won't be the DD by the way....there may be a little alcohol involved..........:)

I can do lunch any day this week I am flexible. Look forward to it and see you soon.
