Hi All,

Hoping that I can catch up with everyone next weekend. It just all depends on Mom's status at that time. If not, know I love my NHS peeps dearly and so appreciate all the messages of support. MCB, you and I must have ESPN...I was about to text you yesterday to see how you were doing. Hadn't heard from you in a while. Oh, and Erik, you will be thrilled (I'm sure) to know that I had a dream about you the other night...it was soooo funny...innocent...it was...but a hoot. I will have to tell you about it. No fear, Johnny and Debbie are safe. I think I was thinking about your text as well and how sweet it was. I'm literally hanging on by a thread here. I have two roles in this picture...one as a cancer nurse and the other as a daughter. Both of which are excruciatingly painful to my heart and brain. Thank GOD I have a friend who is a Psych Nurse...no lie, she is really helping me process all of this.

Okay...off to do some work around the house. Thanks again to you all and have a GREAT weekend! I hope to go to Dogtoberfest with Tessie...anyone else going to that? Or First Friday's tonight?!?!

Hey Chris...um dress for the weather buddy. Not sure what the game plan is. I'm not available Friday night for the game, but there was talk about doing something on Saturday night. Are you going to be around Saturday? I'm up for anything (inside or out). Hope to see you next weekend.

Okay, I MIGHT come in the weekend of October 9th but I will be coming in with all 4 kids in tow and minus Steve. (He has to work!) So, what are the plans in case one of the grandparents offer to watch the kids so that I can get out some and play?

Vicky: Is this the same time you are going home? If so, what date and time are you leaving and returning? Just thinking that I may piggy-back with you so that I have someone there just in case I need them. If not, then I am okay since I have a cell phone, Garmin, and Road-side assistance.

I hope that everyone is doing well. Things are good here. I would just love to see some familiar faces! :)

Hey Kristen, the more the merrier :)
Jess and I are going down on Thursday morning provided that she can get out of classes that day. I wanted to leave Wednesday night but I don't think I can work all day and then make that trip. Regardless, Friday we are driving to AppState for a tour and spending the night in Elk Banner (apparently it's AppState's Homecoming)..and the boyfriend is at Lees McRae so we're staying over so Jess can visit with him. Coming back to Rke on Saturday, heading to PA on Sunday. You have my #..feel free to piggy back either down or back or both. I'm trying to leave early on Thursday so I can get to the nursing home to see my Grandma as she's had another stroke and is totally bedridden now and can't speak..but if you can leave Thursday AM I'll wait on you.

If the ICU hours are as they normally are, I will be run out of there kicking and screaming...to no avail. So I may be able to get together with everyone. It is kind of a wait and see thing right now. I have a bunch of people's cell numbers...so I will text or you all text me and let me know if you all are getting together. I am ALL for getting together...either going out or just hanging out.

Hey Erik, long time no see.
How about somewhere not too loud so we can actually hear each other talk. Not familiar with any new stomping grounds. I will be getting in late afternoon, so I can't meet until about 7 or 730. Eat without me, I will be a dessert person :)

Anyone have any suggestions? I'll pick a time if somebody picks a place...lol.

Saturday night options: Macados at Tanglewood? Buffalo Wild Wings? O'Charleys at Valley View? Was thinking something more laid back and relaxing, where we don't have to shout over each other to catch up, but yet bar situation for those who want to have a beverage (which will be me after this week). Thoughts?? 7pm or 7:30pm is a good time, gives everyone time to get kiddies situated for the night.

Anywhere sounds good. Is the Buffalo wing place also at Valley View? I think I have been there before...haven't been to a Macados in 20 years, didn't know there was one at Tanglewood, so need directions if we go there..unless it's right at the mall.

Tony Bond By the way... Macado's @ TW hasn't closed, Mac & Maggie's which was in front of the mall closed a few years ago and is now a Panara. Macado's is across from the mall on the upper level of Grand Pavilion. What are the plans for Friday? Cannot make Saturday, but I may be able to swing Friday...
