I have been married three times. The first time while I was a senior! STUPID! I was not pregnant! Just hated my parents. (Third is the charm!) Brian and I have been married for ten years now and we are going on our second honeymoon to St. Johns this summer.
After graduation I started beauty school and did hair for approximately eleven years. I co-owned a beauty shop during that stent (Sassy Clipper) and also rented several booths as well. After I married Brian we decided that I should stay at home and raise our kids. We already had Sam (from my previous marriage). After we married (a year later) Madeline was born. Then after five years of being bored to death staying at home I decided to follow in my mother's footsteps and become an RN. I graduated in 2006 (cum laud). I started my nursing career at CRMH as a psychiatric nurse on night shift. That became old real fast! A job opening came up at the Glebe (which is five minutes from our home) and I applied and found myself taking care of the elderly (which is not much different than doing hair except I give out medication). Ha Ha! I am now enrolled at Liberty University and begin classes this August, I will be working on my Bachelors degree in nursing. That about sums up my life. All I can say is that I wish I would have used the sense that God had given me when I was a teenager, I could have saved myself a lot of heartache . I wish I could have been a bit more sociable too, so I could have gotten to know more of you .
I found out why Ms.Petty would always fall asleep in class. I met a friend of hers in the hospital and she told me that Ms. Petty used to take care of her mother (which was very ill)after work and throughout the night she was so tired she would fall asleep during classes.
I remember cutting class with Lisa Murphy, going to her house and just hanging out watching TV and eating all the food in her parents house. Her mom was cool.
I wasn't allowed on Williamson Rd. because my older sister had an accident there when she had gotten her license. I was forbidden. Me and a few of my friends at the time used to take the back roads to Baskin Robbins so we could sit in the parking lot and watch the cruisers go up and down the road. I did get caught one night, but I got off with a warning. I was a Daddy's girl.:>
