Rusty Burger

Since 1989, I went to college at Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Alabama), and I met my wife there. When I graduated from college, we moved back to Roanoke. I went to work in the Child Welfare Industry, and I completed my Masters Degree from Radford University. I have worked at Social Services, Family Preservation Services, Roanoke City Schools, and I currently work at Braley and Thompson. My wife and I have 3 kids, and we love living in Roanoke. Our kids will attend William Byrd once they get older, but my loyalty is still to the Vikings. Hope all of you out there are doing well.

My favorite High School Memory is actually right after High School ended. We went down to Myrtle Beach for Senior week, and we had a great time. One week of complete fun with no responsibilities. One day there was a big storm, and I went out into the ocean with waves that were at least 10 feet high (I have gotten a little smarter since High School).
