Clarke grew up a block or two from me in Robbinsdale. I think of him as one of the neighbor kids. And I always liked his name. We have talked at reunions. Nice guy. I'm sorry to see that he has passed but it appears he had family that loved him plus a whole church community. Rest in peace, Clarke.

I remember Clarke from elementery school.I think Clarke lived on Vera Cruz ave.The same street my twin brother and I lived on.  Carla Clarke that just posted lived I think in the same neighborhood.Clarke always seemed to have a very gentle nature about him.My mothers best friend (shirley Dahleen ) just passed away last year and attended Faith Lilac Way for many years.I was able to attend her funeral..Lots of nice memories of a much simpler time during the 50's

I too think that Clarke Robinson lived on Vera Cruz.  I lived down the street from James and John Reynolds at 4500 Vera Cruz.  I remember riding my bike down the hill from their house to mine and watching my speedometer to see how fast I was going.  Carla Clarke lived a couple of blocks away.  I plan on attending Clarke's funeral.

My Dad. Harvey Seebach was the minister of Faith Lilac Way Church till1963. Bu

tch was always willing and happy to come help do projects Dad needed done. I met Butch the day I moved into the parsonage. I was 8 years old. That was the beginning of a life long friendship between he and I.

Time and life changes left some small gaps on connection face to face. Each time we reconnected as adults was like we never lost touch. This past 2 summers Butch came to WA State and spent a couple days with us talking about life and family. He was a gentle kind soul. I am thankful I got to share in his life. We talked the morning before his passing and discussed what we felt our lives were about. He was happy with his path and grateful for his Church family and his chances to serve there. Butch......THANK YOU.

I remember Clark well, I sense we would be hard pressed to find a more kinder gentler soul on this earth...my sympathy to his family and friends...

Sad news to hear of Butch's passing.  I, too, was from the old Robbinsdale neighborhood having lived on 41st and Xenia.  He and I grew up together, were confirmed together and graduated from High School together. Life took us in different directions over the years but we always reconnected on any given Sunday at our church.  Clarke "Butch" Robinson was indeed a "gentle soul" and I'd be hard pressed to find a more sincere person.  Over the years, he made his community of Robbinsdale and his church better through his thoughts and actions. His was a life that "made a difference" for many.  I plan to attend his service in honor and in memory of a great guy and genuine friend.
