I don't even know where to start. Janell was my best friend for almost 50 years. She was always smiling. Through the darkest of times, she always had an upbeat attitude. We went through having kids, divorces, re-marriages, illnesses, and working together for many years. Janell suffered for a very long time with several debilitating illnesses. Every time I spoke to her, she had another problem. I NEVER heard her complain. She was always trying to make ME feel better. When we were working together ( before the sickness hit us both) we laughed and had some very crazy times. We were always getting into something!!! Janell loved everyone. She would do anything she could for anyone. She was always sending birthday, anniversary, get well, cheer and any other card she felt someone needed. She even started to make her own homemade cards before she just didn't have the energy anymore. She was my BFF and always will be. I loved her with my whole heart but I know that she is in heaven. She has a new body, no pain and she is happy. She is buried just down the road from me and I visit her often. I just want you all to know my friend, Janell Howard Carpenter loved life, loved people, loved helping others and most of all she loved her daughter, Ashley more than anything. She was the best Mom Ashley could have asked for!! I will miss you until the day we are reunited in heaven. Remember your promise to me. Meet me by the gate! R.I.P. my dear friend.
