ROCK HILL - Mr. Claude Becknell Edwards of 183 Glenwood Drive passed away Nov. 18, 2008, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Rock Hill to the late Ralston Dixon Edwards Sr. and Margie Becknell Edwards, Mr. Edwards was a Medical Technician for McKessen General Medical Co.
He is survived by a son, Joel Edwards of Rock Hill; daughter, Amanda Cavin of Edgemoor; partner, Kevin Denny of Statesville; four grandchildren, Ian, Jennings, Kaci and Emma Cavin; two brothers, Dick Edwards of Great Falls and Wayne Edwards of Rock Hill.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, interment private. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and Cremation Center. After the service the family will gather at the home of Wayne Edwards, brother.

From the days at Ebinport to Rock Hill High we shared some great times. I will always remember the summer we took the long trail ride on our horses out to the river camped out and road for miles the next few days.Memories oh how wonderful, Joslin Park, the Parkhurst family, even though you are departed you made a contribution to all of us around you.
