The world is a darker place today without Truett. I can not recall a time that he was not smiling and joyful...great memories! It is a comfort to his family that they will see him again one day. Death ends life not relationships. I, along with many, pray for God's comfort for the family in these difficult days.

Truett was a great friend. We had a wonderful time growing up as kids together at the Arcade. From the time we were able to play sports, Truett and I played any and all sports together at West End Baptist Church. Truett was a great Christian man and he will be missed by all. His faith was strong, even until the end. My sincere sympathy goes out to all the family.
