I was a United Methodist Minister for 20 years until 1989 and have been a Financial Advisor, since. My firm is "The Nivens Wealth Strategies" In addition to my office in Gastonia, NC; I have an office in Rock Hill at 1029 Oakland Avenue behind Wing Bonz Restaurant.

Have completed a murder mystery, "Southern Fried Hope" relesed in February 2013 based in Rock Hill. My "A Light In The Darkness" has been re-published by GuidePost Magazine with 3 million subscribers.

Our class used to cover Mrs. Price's clock with spit balls! She would get so upset that she could not tell the time!!! Did you know that you can use a straw and hit that clock from the back of the room?

I used to make 400+ pimento sandwiches for the football team's road trips. I still like them...they are better with a little mayonaise on them!
