To an old friend:

I'll never forget the night at Brooklyn-Cayce our senior year. You were ready to snap the ball back to me for the extra point when their linebacker came running toward the line, jumped on your back and vaulted into the backfield. Of course you didn't see him coming, as you were looking at me for the snap signal, but I saw him all the way! What a pain that must have been!!
You laughed and laughed about that one after the game. You were a real trooper!
We all miss you, Bruce.
