Worked as an electrical contractor in family business for 33 years. Sold the business in 2007. Spent four years in US Army and had a very interesting tour in Vietnam as a scout helicopter pilot. Spent twenty plus years in S. C. Army National Guard. Retired LTC
Married to Kathie who is also a retired LTC. I received one of the greatest honors that a soldier could receive by having a firing range at Fort Jackson named in my honor for actions in Vietnam. (That's right, in honor of me, not in memory)
Worked too much to have kids or enjoy a lot of the finer things in life such as getting together with old classmates.
I live on the river about one half of the time, and the other half of my time at Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
I still fly an old Beech Single engine airplane.
God has been very kind to me.
