Carol Suttle (McManus)

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Carol Ann Suttle McManus, 61, of 2275 India Hook Road died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Rebecca McPherson-Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.

A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Mrs. McManus was a daughter of the late James W. Suttle and the late Beulah Guyton Suttle. She was a LPN for 30 years and retired from Rock Hill Pediatrics. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, where she formerly taught Sunday School.

Mrs. McManus is survived by her husband, David D. McManus of Chester; her sons, Rev. David D. McManus Jr. and his wife, Samantha, of Livingston, S.C., and Brian Keith McManus Sr. and his wife, Kelly, of Greenfield, Ohio; her sister, Marsha Stewart of Marion, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Brian Jr., Aidan, and Leighann McManus.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731 or the Cornerstone UMC Sanctuary Fund, 1072 Eagle Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

A kinder person I have not known. You were such
a great nurse. My children loved you dearly when
you were their nurse during their doctor visits with

Cassie Monroe (Gebhardt)

Carol was one of the sweetest girls I've ever known. We were friends for many years.I loved her smile and her loving nature. She is greatly missed by all who knew her. Heaven has a precious angel that I will be happy to see!

carol we were such good friends from grade school on. such a sweet person  always had a smile one day i will see you in heaven and we will laugh as we always did!!  love you forever
