Judy Drakeford Parrish's mother passed away on May 22nd. Thank you Lyn Baker Jackson for letting us know.

Rock Hill Frances Matthews Drakeford, 90, passed on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home.

Frances was born in Rock Hill, SC and the daughter of the late George Oscar and Nona Cathleen Sims Matthews.  She was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church (PCA).  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Drakeford was preceded in death by her husband, Carl.W. Drakeford, Sr.

Services for Mrs. Drakeford will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road with Reverends Jim Parrish and David Sealy officiating.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm, Friday, May 25, 2018 at the funeral home and others times at the home.

Mrs. Drakeford is survived by her sons, Woody Drakeford (Terry) and Wayne Drakeford (Karen), all of Rock Hill; her daughters, Judy Parrish (Mike) of Rock Hill and Denise Cato (Tommy) of Catawba; and her seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren

Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, PO box 266, Fort Mill, SC 29716-0266 or Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 1571 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.J

Becky, I had to have hospice assigned to Linda Carroll Helms today. She has leukemia. She is still at Pruitt Nursing Home. Please everyone keep her in your prayers.

Wanted to make sure all here knew that Linda Hunter Carroll passed away on June 7 after a long illness. She was a life long fan of beach music and shag dancing. It really pained her when her health took the joy of dancing away. I am certain however that she is dancing once again and meeting old friends. We will all miss her!

So sorry to say, that Ken Cushman passed away this afternoon. Like so many of you, we've been friends since grammer school.  He was a great guy and an even better friend. My heart is hurting.
