In Memory

Ronnie Jackson

Per Sam Covington... (If you have more specifics, please click Contact Us with info.)

Ron Jackson passed away several years ago with multiple brain tumors. He was a Baptist minister and part time carpenter. His wife's name is Donna. I'm not sure about kids. He preached for a while at McConnells Baptist when we visited there. He was building a ramp for his dad's house after his dad became confined to a wheel chair and Ron began to have severe headaches. It turned out to be tumors. He hung on valiantly after the surgery but not for too long. He was a great guy for sure.

I didn't know Ronnie very well, but I wanted to remember him with a rose.  I hope we don't see any more names added to this list........there are already 42 to many now.

I knew Ronnie it seems for my whole life but I had lost track of him.  Man, I hate this news.  He was a good guy.  The kind of guy you'd be proud to call your friend.  Here's a rose to you, old friend.

Ronnie is another classmate that I'm meeting for the first time through the words of classmates who knew him.  Another classmate whose testimony for Christ is still living on.  While we're having a reunion on earth, I can only imagine the reunion going on in heaven....I BET they'll get together in heaven while we are meeting in September!  Another rose for you, Ronnie.  I'll meet you later on.
