Horace was a sweetheart. I still think of him as the little mischievous boy at Central School. I was blessed to have known him.

I barely knew Horace in school.  I got to know him working on the 10 year reunion.  On Saturday afternoon of the event, he and I took delivery from the beer truck at the Armory.  In our dedication to our fellow classmates, we decided we needed to test the beer, you know, to make sure it was safe and all.  We throughly tested the beer for all of you and as a result we each were a couple hours late to the reunion.  But no classmates were hurt in the process.  RIP Rabon.  You were a good man and a kind soul.

I was sorry to read of Horace's passing.  I will always remember his big smile, funny and mischievous without even trying. He usually was moved to the front of the class beside the teacher's desk.  Horace was a sweetheart and thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Horace was a lifetime friend of mine, growing up together at First Baptist - RH.  He always had a smile on his face and never seemed to have a bad day. We reconnected over the phone shortly beore our 40th Reunion and enjoyed several good conversations through the years.  Horace loved his wife, Betsy, and his boys.  He loved to joke and laugh and always called me Sherry Franklin and I in return always called him Horace T.  We both got a good laugh out of that.  I will miss him and our conversations.  Rest well, my friend........
