Mrs. Lynn Rainey DeVinney, 61, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Forest Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Randy Thomas officiating.

A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Mrs. DeVinney was a daughter of Audrey Roberts Rainey of Rock Hill and the late John Elmer Rainey. She attended Gloryland Freewill Baptist Church and was employed with Rock Hill Telephone Company for 41 proud years.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband; her daughter and son-in-law; her grandchild; her brother, John David Rainey of Rock Hill; and her sister, Lisa Funderburke of Rock Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Wayne Rainey.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. DeVinney's name to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
