In calling classmates who live out of town/state to let them know about this reunion, Kathy Sager's husband, John, wrote me the following email and I responded below. Please add any memories you would like to share about Kathy with John and others.

"Nancy - sorry to inform you that Kathy Sager Sharpe passed away in April 2005 from an immediate stroke. I went to the previous re union with her and she enjoyed it
as I did."

Sincerely -

"Hi John,

I am so very sorry to hear of Kathy's death. I remember when she joined the class at RH High as a new student. She was fast to make new friends and didn't seem at all uncomfortable being the "new kid on the block" from a bystander's perpective, as I was. She was friendly and well liked.

I recall when she and some of her/my friends made a visit to a palm reader which I think was Kathy's idea! I don't remember the fortunes they heard, but I bet they will also remember the fun they had on that outing with Kathy.

I will forward your message to those who I know who were her friends, and I will pass this information on to the site administrator for the reunion at www.rhhs1970.com You could access this site as well.

Again, I can only express my deepest sympathy for your loss and our loss. Kathy was a sweet person with a good heart and we will all miss knowing that she is still here with us. She is in my memory and those who knew her at RHHS."

Kathy was a sweet friend and left this world much too soon as many of our classmates did. I recently saw her children, Julie and Billy, and Kathy would be so proud. Julie is a lady in all aspects and looks so much like her mother. Billy is handsome and has alot of his mother's personality. I am sure she would have loved spoiling her precious grandkids.
