Clarence was a big guy with a big heart! I remember he was always kind and friendly to everyone. He had a great smile, too!

One thing about Clarence that I always admired about Clarence was his heart and he had a big one! He was one of the few guys at RHHS that was bigger than me and Bimbo. A big, big rose to a big, big MAN! See ya on the other side.

Clarence always had that grin or smile. A great guy who is missed. A rose is in order.

I remembered Clarence as such a great guy with a great smile and always treated everyone with respect. How could anyone not like him. Truly a good soul - a rose for you and your family. Carolyn Hancock Finley

Big "C" was my best friend at Rock Hill High. We had some good times.

Clarence used to look after me in the crowds in the halls. I always felt safe when he was somewhere out there.  Just a little joke we had.

I was at a high school football game a number of years ago and talked with Clarence for most of the game about times at RHHS. He hadn't changed and still had the same smile that I remembered from high school. I enjoyed the times we had in chorus. Steve Courtney

Clarence and I sat next to each other in chorus (what a voice). I was always envious of the notes he could hit. He had a great heart and was always true to himself and others. He is surely missed but fondly remembered.

Yes, The voice he had was unbelievable. I saw him several years ago, and asked him if he did anything with his voice. He said, Just singing at church....For him, That was enough....Miss you big guy....

I liked Clarence a lot. He was definitely the biggest man on the high school football practice field. It really scared me on an extremely hot day when he passed out. I was so relieved when we saw that he was going to be okay.
