ROCK HILL - Mr. Donald Willard Gaulden, 58, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Scott Louellen officiating and Dr. Robert Hensley assisting. Burial will be private.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Gaulden was the son of Frances Scoggins Gaulden of Rock Hill and the late Willard Hall Gaulden. He was the very proud owner/operator of Gaul-Mart Grocery and he enjoyed dirt track racing, golfing, fishing and shag dancing. He was a Christian.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Gregg Gaulden and his wife, Michelle, of York, and Johnny Gaulden of Rock Hill; his sisters, Diane Wicker of Kinston, N.C., and Angie Tinker of Rock Hill; and three grandchildren, Alyssa, Tyler and Gabriel Gaulden.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill.
