I first met Tommy in Mrs. Milling's seventh grade English class. Tommy & I were the ones in trouble for talking in class. Mrs. Milling had ideas about class decorum that did not match very well with ours.
Tommy & I often rode to & from Clemson with Horace Rabon.(Horace & I were freshman roomates)
Tommy knew things about machines and their workings that could never be learned from a book, only through experience.
Tommy was and is a good guy.

I knew Tommy his whole life. Danny Sturgis, Rick Sturgis, Ray Nivens and I would camp out with him at his "camp" along a little stream. We never got much sleep, but, man, the stories that were told.
Tommy went off to Clemson and I went in the Navy. Unfortunately, we lost track - I know he was married at the time of his accident. EVERY time I get back to Rock Hill and come out of Newport and turn left (past the new Walmart), I think of him.

I am shocked to see Tommy's name on this list. I had no idea. Tommy and I went to the prom together our junior year. I had just moved to Rock Hill that year and didn;t think anyone would ask me to the prom. We had a good time. I will always be grateful to Tommy.

I knew Tommy from first grade at Leslie School. He was always so sweet. It was such a tragedy when I heard of his death. He was married at the time and they had at least two small children. Such a wonderful person -
I remember Ray Nivens, Doug Morrison, Danny Sturgis and all of those guys from first grade and how these guys were such great buddies - a rose to you Tommy

Tommy was a great fiend and welcomed me to the community and school. He will be missed
