Martha was definitely one of the 'cool' kids in our class; non-conformity just came naturally to her. I also recall being at one of her pajama parties, which was the first time I heard the Beatles' 'new' record---Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band...

Martha was a great friend, and I regret that we did not keep in touch over the years. I, like others, enjoyed PJ parties at Martha's house. She was such a fun and loving person.

I knew Marth from High School. She was always very kind and had such a wonderful personality. I too was shocked when I saw her obituary. a rose to you

The infamous pajama parties...mine were tame by comparison!  She was a great person and so much fun and lost too soon.

Martha and her pj parties-what fun we had.  Loved her feather bed (we all rolled to the center).  A rose to you, Martha!

In 1971, I heard John Prine's first album for the very first time at Martha's house.

Heaven seems so much closer since so many of our classmates are there now.  Here's a rose for you, Martha...and go give all of our other classmates a hug from those of us still left on earth!

Martha and I were friends for so long, we went to the same church, the same schools.  It was a shock to me when I heard she had passed over.  I saw it at the reunion.  I knew she was in Florida,  a mutual friend had told me.  She always was there for you, and would do anything she could to help someone less fortunate.  She was the type of person that you could count on to be with you through anything.  I was lucky to have her as a friend

You will be missed.  A dozen roses to you, Martha

Mary
