JOHN E. LINDLEY, 62 ROCKFORD - John E. Lindley, 62, of Rockford died at 5:25 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, in his home. Born June 28, 1946, in Rock-ford, the son of Robert J. and Roberta E. (Anderson) Lindley. Graduated from East High School in 1964 and University of Wisconsin in 1969. John was self-employed as a life insurance salesman for the past 25 years. He coached girls swimming at Guilford High School for 15 years. He is survived by his son, Andrew (Bridget) Lindley of Pingree Grove; daughter, Megan Lindley of Rockford; the mother of his children, Debra Lindley of Rockford; granddaughter, Emma Lindley; parents, Robert J. and Roberta Lindley of Rockford; sisters, Sue (John) Majzun of Marietta, Ga., Kathy Lindley of Rockford and Barb (Ed) Wysocki of Downers Grove; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Sara) Prevost, Chris (Traci) Prevost, Jennifer (Paul) Lytle and Emily and Daniel Wysocki; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, in Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden visitors center gallery, 2715 S. Main St., Rockford, with Pastor Donald Lavelle officiating. Memorial visitation from 3 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the visitors center gallery at the arboretum. Memorials to John E.
