JILL E. LUNDBERG ROCKFORD - Jill E. Lundberg passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013. She was born June 30, 1946, in Rockford, daughter of L. Howard Lundberg and Evelyn (Grahn) Lundberg. Jill taught at Harlem High School for 33 years, retiring in 2003. She will be greatly missed by sister, Cynthia Fritsch of San Diego; brother, Jack Lundberg of Westville, Okla.; many cousins, nephews and nieces; and special friend, Donald Ausherman. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Polo Rehab for their care and Trinity Lutheran Church for their prayers. A memorial for friends and family will be scheduled for a later date. Those of us who knew her well will remember the fun times and generous spirit. In Jill's memory, a donation may be directed to a scholarship fund by contacting Harlem High School, 1 Huskie Circle, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Cremation Society of Illinois assisted the family.
