VICKIE M. BENNETT, 63 ROCKFORD - Vickie M. Bennett, 63, of Rockford died suddenly at 3:47 p.m. Feb. 27, 2010. Born Dec. 10, 1946, in Brainerd, Minn., to Wesley E. and Lois L. (Wiederholt) Sanderson. She was co-owner of Big Joe the Plumber Contracting Co. for 26 years. Survivors include mother, Lois L. Sanderson of Rockford; partner in life, Timm D. Kofoed of Rockford; daughter, Tammy M. Kinsman of Loves Park; son, Wes (Lisa) Bennett of Rockford; grandsons, Bradley Smith and Alex Coletta; granddaughters, Ashley and Shelby Kinsman; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father, Wesley E. Sanderson, and grandson, Joseph Coletta. At her request, cremation rites are to be honored with no services planned. Memorials in her memory may sent in care of the funeral home for contributions to a charity to donor's choice.
