MARY ANN MANZULLO, 66 NEW MILFORD - Mary Ann Manzullo, 66, died at 1:20 p.m., Thurs., July 11, 2013 in Swedish American Hospital after an extended illness. Born Dec. 23, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois. Married to Frank Manzullo, Jr., in Rockford, Feb. 3, 1968. Co-owner and hostess of Manzullo's Famous Restaurant. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church, The Bible Babes Bible Study, Northern Illinois Republican Women, and Illinois Nurses Association. She enjoyed gardening, singing in the choir, cooking, and spending time with family. Graduate of Rockford Memorial School of Nursing in 1966 and of Rockford College in 1989. She worked for the Early Childhood Program for the Rockford Public School District. Survivors include, husband, Frank; daughter, Mary Catherine (Brian) Flynn of Rockford; son, Frank Manzullo, III of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Anna and Joe Flynn of Rockford; sister, DeAnna (John) Gordon of Upper Arlington, Ohio; brothers, Tom Smith and Jeff (Jodi) Smith of Rockford; brother-and -sister-in-law, Donald and Freda Manzullo; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dorothy Evans. Predeceased by her parents, George J. and Mary (Cieliesz) Gagnon. The family would also like to express special thanks to the nurses on the 7th floor at Swedish American Hospital.
