It is a truly sad task to add Linda's name to our In Memory page. She and I met in the summer of 1952 when my family moved to Battersea Blvd in Rocky River and Linda lived a few houses down the street. We started first grade together that Fall at Kensington School and were friends for the rest of our shared lifetime. I have always considered it a blessing to have grown up in this town with such a great group of classmates and I've always felt my friendship with Linda was a major part of that blessing. Though I have not lived here since shortly after graduation, whenever I came back to town, Linda could be counted on to gather with our fellow classmates and was invariably as friendly and personable as ever. She was a major part of the core group that put together our reunions and various other gatherings and was a treat to work with on those occasions. Most importantly, seeing Linda always made me feel like I was home again. I will forever miss her as much as I do today. RIP, sweet Linda.

Happy Birthday, Lee! Hope you're doing well. Take care of yourself and keep in touch.

Lowell, you are not mistaken. Kenny passed away over fifty years ago. When the website was built years later, we couldn't remember exactly what year we lost Kenny, even though Lee Perry and i were both pall bearers at his funeral.  (Talk about getting old!) That lack of a year has bothered several of us, including John Ahlstrom (also from the neighborhood back in grade school), who recently asked why we still didn't have a year. So we compared the contents of our limited memories and decided it must have been 1972, although we would welcome any further information on the date. Unfortunately, when I added the year, the website published it as if Kennny had been added, not just the year. Sorry about that.

Hope that helps. There is one thing I can't help you with, though - you ARE getting old! Glad to hear you're still doing so. Take care of yourself and keep up the good work.
