FRED HENNIGHAUSEN

I loved my family, friends, schools, and growing up in Roswell, although some of my behavior back then is of significant regret to me now.

I attended Texas Tech for an Architectural Degree and then spent a year overseas thereafter. I returned to Texas and worked in traditional architectural firm settings and then in corporate development for restaurant and entertainment companies for the bulk of my 40 year professional career.

I became a Christian in college, thankfully, and met my lovely wife Mary in church when I moved to Dallas in 79. We have been blessed with 3 wonderful girls, now have 3 great sons-in-law, and 9 terrific grandchildren. We have been involved in the same church now for about 30 years and served in the youth departments for the bulk of that time. I also enjoyed being active in YMCA youth programs in the past.

We have been fortunate through the years to be able to travel as a family - with one of the highlights being the annual pilgrimages to Roswell on the 4th of July and at Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my parents passed away in 2013 and 2017, so the trips are not regular now.

My focus and activity over the past couple years has been on growing in my walk with the Lord and Discipleship, our expanding family, some development activity, attempting to stay healthy, boating, and hunting. I'm excited to be in this next chapter of life and in trying to live a 'purpose driven life'.

Just to set one small record straight - I was driving Jimmy's car, Randy and Russell were along, Jimmy covered my eyes from behind, and we wrecked!!
