Happy Birthday, Phil Roy, hope the day suits your wishes.  I'm glad that we're both still alive after I stomped on the accelerator instead of the brakes when we were cruising down Vinsetta Blvd.  Scary seconds!!  Your kids and grandkids are probably glad too.  We hope to see you at our 60th Reunion next August.  Fred congratulations on you Font Award!!  Anything you've observed whilst lurking that you'd care to share?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Happy birthday, Pete Pappas, you of the slick glove and quick relays on the diamond.  I hope you have a terrific day, dodge any incoming tropical storms, and you make the coming year everything you'd like it to be.  We'd like to see you this August at our 60th Reunion.

I would like to extend a blessing, a thanks and a wish to our veterans for a peaceful and serene day on this Veteran's Day and for the next 364 days, too.  We were fortunate that all of our classmates who served have come back alive, though not always unscathed.  Being in the military has a definite affect on us, and being in harm's way can leave unpleasant emotional aftereffects.  Thanks also, to those who waited nervously while their loved ones were in harm's way.  That is a different kind of service.  Here in the Pinehurst area we have Flag Fields that would remind you of Christmas Tree Lots, with hundreds of flags available in all sizes.  One of our local communities bought out the entire inventory of one lot.  The lot opened 3 days later with a renewed supply.  Many of the local golf courses will let active military play for free or for a cart fee, and several restaurants serve active military and veterans a free meal, and we're not referring to a $4 breakfast.  The main boulevard entrance to Pinehurst is decorated with 400 flags 50 yards apart.

Sounds beautiful, Mike.

Thank you to all of our Veterans for your service.

Copy Janet to Mike's fitting Salute on Veteran's Day and it's wonderful that it's being honored more and more these years!

A Happy Birthday to Jean S.

Hope your days are happy and joyous. May your dreams and wishes come true and your health stays with you.

God, who wrote that?

Just saying have fun, enjoy your cake and ice cream, and, give em hell!

Happy Birthday, Jean Stoegbauer.  This wish would probably have gotten to you yesterday, on your birthday, had it not been for all the snow it had to get through.  Or, maybe, if I had sent it on time.  Is Hadley far enough east of all the snow, or most of it?  That's beautiful country up there and freshly fallen snow has to have a wonderful effect, visually, as long as one doesn't have to drive through it.  I hope your day was terrific and the rst of the coming year as good as you can make it.  We'd be more than pleased to see you and Pete return again to Michigan for our 60th Reunion this August and share your delightful smile with us.  Merry Unbirthday to the rest of us.

Jean Stoegbauer (Murphy)

Thanks for the Birthday wishes!  My day was great.  No cake, just ice cream.  Does that count?
Peter and I are planning on being at the next reunion, so see you then.

Happy Thanksgiving!  ðŸ¦ƒ

I'd like to wish everyone a peaceful and pleasant Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be thankful for, and sometimes we take those things and people for granted.  I, personally am thankful for those people who's lives have crossed mine and made a difference.  While I miss those who are no longer with us, I feel blessed that they were part of my life.

Jean, so glad that you and Pete will be with us next August and I hope we'll be joined by many more.  When it's your birthday you can have whatever you want and not what you don't prefer.  Even when it's not your birthday for that matter.

Happy Birthday, Annette.

After all the Thanksgiving celebrations and before the Christmas holidays, we're glad your folks had the time to give birth to you.

You were always a sweet girl and I bet you are even a sweeter mom.

Enjoy your special day and the holidays ahead, Oh, and don't forget the cake and ice cream if you can take more sugar.

Annette, I agree with OB - a sweet girl, sweeter mom and we can only imagine how sweet a grandmom you are.  Any greatgrandkids yet?  Happy Birthday either way.  I hope you're one of those lurking in the shadows yet reading the Forum  nonetheless.  Shock us all and resond, please.  We'd like to see your smiling face at our Reunion next August.

A Happy Birthday to Mary.

A true gift received just before Christmas to the Mack family a few years ago.

I hope you enjoy your day and many more to come.

Oh, and don't forget your cake and ice cream with the family.

Belated Happy Birthdays to Susan and Mary.  We hope they were days to bring smiles to your faces and warmth to your hearts, with family, loved ones and the celebratory foods of your choice.  We'd like to see both of you at our 60th Reunion this coming August.

Meanwhile, I was in Michigan and electronically incommunicado, but down here in North Carolina one of our local communities had a Drag Queen event of some sort.  I don't know if it was a parade, party, movie, or whatever, but the Bible Thumpers came out to protest.  There were some unkind words on either side.  Then, there was a coordinated, simultaneous attack on 3 power stations, shutting them all down for a few days.  No heat, electricity, etc..  There are ongoing investigations by Duke Energy (Security), Fort Bragg (Security, domestic terrorism and preparedness), FBI (Domestic Terroriism), State Troopers (Whodunnit?) Local Sheriff Departments (Whodunnit?) and Local Police Departments (Whodunnit?).  None of them are sharing any findings with the populace which doesn't keep us from speculating.  The media is outdoing itself with farfetched imaginations, but virtually all of them related to the Drag Queen/Bible Thumpers conflict.  I'd like to say this was exciting but being incomunicado again without lights, heat, cooking facilities, etc. was inconvenient not dramatic.  'Tis the season to be jolly and kind, even to Drag Queens.

Happy Christmas and New Year to all.

Robert Radofski (Sullivan)

A very merry Christmas to all. And thanks to Tom and Mike for the year's birthday cheer.

I had to come out of the shadows and send warm greatings to all from Ireland, and pass along the great vibes I had this weekend. Played for 7 hours the last two days with wonderful, crazy Irish lads and lasses.

Take some time and be kind to someone who needs it this holiday season. And hope for the best in the coming year.

Rob Sullivan
