In elementary school Dorothy was a real good friend of mine. We went to the same church, so about every two weeks she would invite me to her house in town, after morning meeting, for dinner and playing. We had such a good time together.
Dorothy became a nurse, and worked a lot at night, so she could be with her family during the days. We moved away, so we lost touch, I'm sorry to say.
Passed away Sept. 6, 2003. She is survived by her children, Kevan, Debbie, Jerry, Kim, Lavar and Melissa. She also had 24 grandchildren.
