School Story:

Getting high on warm cider is what I blame for disrupting the play, Mollie O Shaughnessy, during the senior year. Upon biting into the dried out sandwiches in the play it set off a laughing streak between us at the table which we couldn't control for several minutes. We weren't very good actors; we stepped out of character.

I have fond memories of our association with Verlee.  She had a wonderful personality and seemed to have a warmth about her that you respected.  I kept a picture of her for years.  Elwood
