Comments:
After leaving Rupert High School I entered the Convent in Mt. Angel, Oregon. I received my degree for teaching and spent the next 45 years teaching in the primary grades. I taught in Oregon schools as well as in Hayward, California.
It was a difficult decision to discontinue teaching. I loved my work with the children and their parents.
I am now retired and living at our Monastery in Mt. Angel.
I still visit classrooms and entertain classes that come to visit us in Mt. Angel. The best part of being retired is the free time to go on long walks, read, work on hobbies and pray and live with my Community of Sisters.
