I worked with Howard at DMV back in the mid-60's while I was attending college. He was a very funny guy and a good friend. We worked the swing shift in the Teletype unit sending drivers license and vehicle info out to law enforcement all over the country. It was a time of "party, party, party" when we'd get off work at 1:15 in the morning. Howard hosted many parties at his house, it was the time of the "Cool Jerk" (dance), Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and lotsa good times. If I remember correctly, Howard was killed in an auto accident in the late 60's.
