Nancy was born to William E. and Adelene Winter Nov. 22, 1942 in Sacramento, CA and passed away January 23, 2014 at the age of 71.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Richard, her children Douglas an Karin, her brother Robert and numerous cousins.

Nancy graduated from McClatchy high school and attended Sacramento City College and graduated from San Francisco State College with a degree in education. Nancy taught at Coloma Elementary School until the birth of her children.

She was very involved at her children's school including directing plays and volunteering in class rooms and was very supportive of their extracurricular activities.

Remembrances in her name may be made for Frontal/temporal Decline (FTD) research by way of the USF neuroscience Dept. or the .

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM February 8th at Lind Brother's Mortuary 4221 Manzanita Ave. Carmichael.
