We received notice of the passing of Mary Ellen on May 25 (2026). She was living in Nampa, ID.--thank you Dan.
She is survived By: Sisters Karen Davidson, Audrey Riggs, Cindy Lowney; Brothers Ivan Sinkler, Richard Sinker.
Mary Ellen was a para legal, eventually became a well-known court reporter. She was a gracious host, loved her cat and bird during her last several years. She was close to her Daughter, Andrea Hawley, who took care of Mary Ellen during her last days.

I knew Mary Ellen from the marching band; she was one of the drumettes, with the twirly batons and short skits.
I eventually married her sister, Karen, without knowing that Mary Ellen was now my sister-in-law. She will be missed.
