I remember Carl from kindergarden. Prince St. Elem. Micky(Dale) and I would race him on the playground a lot...and lose. We would put the sides of our coats under each arm, run and say-"Picking up JR. speed!" We called him Jr. back then....Micky and I seemed to think that was the key to running speed....coat-tails under the arms!
I sat beside him in Mr. Golnick"s class our senior year, and we had many laughs and deep discussions about girls and music and all manner of things important to 17-18 yr. old boys/men.
He may be gone, but never forgotten, never, ever forget our classmates!
I'm glad and proud to have known him at both the start and end of my formal schooling.
