Tiffany, the site looks great! What a fabulous job you have done. Thank you for all of your efforts to reconnect everyone! It is “awesome” to see and hear from familiar faces! I think Granite sounds like fun too- something less formal would be good as well. I do have a connection to the Hilton; if you are interested let me know. Let me know if you need help with anything else. Again Kudos! (PS ~ I too remember the “Hair Bands” and The Beastie boys playing loudly as you walked through Sardine Hall ~ got to love it all!)

I love the sight and how easy it makes it to reconnect. It will be great seeing everyone at the reunion, but I have no desire to return to high school. The liquor license issue is definatley something to consider.

I don't know if there is a particular reason Aug 22 was chosen. I would suggest that if at all possible the date be change to a couple of weeks earlier. School will be starting around mid August and for those of us who need to travel to the reunion that makes it a little tougher to schedule.

Jumping on Angela's last post... If at all flexible on the dates, I'll be in Park City with my family from June 29th to July 3rd. Otherwise I'm in New York City (where I live).

Sorry about that suggestion. I know we all have lives. I just figured it was something to think about.

Do you think if we were drinking and smoking in the school parking lot Mrs Rudolph would come out of nowhere? I wonder if she could still catch us? Aaaah the memories. I agree with the date, I don't have to travel but that would be an issue for others. I can make it no matter what the date is. I am looking so forward to seeing each other again, alot has happened in my life since the last reunion! Actually it really never slows down. Thanks for getting this site up, I hope we find everyone! I am considering getting a facebook page since everyone I know communicates that way....

Hey this is Jen (Lowe) I can't seem to get past wizard step 3 profile thing. Do I have to be a wizard to get to step 5?
Let me know. Thanks

Okay, I admit it, I absolutely love seeing where and how everyone is doing. Thanks to everyone who shared a bit of their history and pictures too - it makes me feel like I'm not so far away both in distance and in time :)

Well, thanks for all the input, but I really don't want to have a reunion in the "FARMER DELI." I even thought about having it in the common area, but we would have to rent tables and chairs and have it catered and get a sound system....way too much work! I am fine with moving the date up so that more people can participate.

Tiff,

What are your considerations for a location?

02/17/09 01:50 PM #39

Dana Robertson (Coleman)

Looks like we won't be out for the wedding after all - it was just post-poned. So, please don't consider me if changing the date. Thanks.

To all it is great to see that so many people are going to make the reunion; I am sad to say that I am too far away to make it, I would love to come if any one has a private jet:)

I have tried to attend the past reunions and had a great time reconnecting, It is really crazy to think that 20 years has past.

I wish from the bottom of my heart the best to all; May we all find our place, peace, and happiness in this world.

Hey everyone, I have received a few e-mails concerning the price of the reunion, and I just want you to know that the committee tried really hard to keep the price down. Please remember that you are paying for more than just dinner; the price includes dinner, non-alcoholic drinks (cash bar is optional), dessert, gratuity, dancing, and a really amazing venue. We have reserved the entire outdoor patio plus the indoor private rooms. It will be great! The more the merrier, so please try to make it!

One more thing, I looked into changing the date earlier and couldn't find a place available the beginning of August. Too many weddings that time of year I guess! Sorry!

I think the price is reasonable. My husband just got an invite for his twenty year reunion ($160 per person) - makes this one seem like a bargain :) Thanks for going to such trouble to make this happen. I'm guessing you guys are going to have a great time catching up! Enjoy!

Hello all, I'm a little slow on all this but after reading some of these posts, I wanted to make a comment re: good old GHS. In my 11 years as a clinical therapist, I was able to spend two of those years back at Granite (2004 and 2005)as a school therapist. Talk about re-living the "glory days." How pathetic is that? Anyway, I spent a couple of weeks just wandering aimlessly through the halls remembering the old school days. Kind of sad to see what it has become.

Anyway, sounds like this will be a good reunion. My wife and I are trying to re-arrange some speaking engamentments that I have try and attend the reunion.

Thanks for all the hard work you all are putting into this.

Dan, I think that is so great that you were a school therapist! So, you got to work with those troubled teens. Tough job!

I've had a few suggestions that we have a 25 year reunion and invite the classes of 87-90.  That sound like fun!  I'm open to suggestions, and am happy that we had a good turn out for the 20 year.  :D
