Great to hear from you Sue. My wife and I have 5 children as well. It took me until age 37 to get married, because I was trying to find a good woman like you for a very long time! Interestingly, we will be leaving in July to serve a 23-month Area Medical Advisor mission in West Africa. It is great to hear your history.

It is always regretful to hear of the passing of such associates, even though our connection has separated for many years. Hopefully, her family will remember the many good aspects of her life.

Chris was one of my closest friends in High School.  We even went to the 50th High School Reunion together. I have been intermittently involved with him for the past 50+ years and was constantly amazed at the efforts that he put forth to help others out. Service to society was his major engagement.  The positive effects that he had on me were formidable, and I am sorry to see him pass on. Fortunately, Glenn Philipoom and I were able to visit with him and his close family just before he died. The remembrances of our past history were fortifying, and he will continue to be a positive influence on those of us who are left.

I have a son who works in D.C. and whose birthday is 4 December! We will obviously be coming again to visit him, and would be glad to see you. Have a great birthday. My email is dbjackmd@gmail.com. I would be glad to get your address there.

Happy Birthday! I am glad that I am 2 months younger than you! In the late 70's I went to Medical School near where you are now. It was in Bethesda Maryland. Only 4 Middle East deployments were required of me. Let me know if you are ever back in Utah. I have relatives near you, so I may get to visit you soon!

Sorry we did not see you at the 50-year reunion!
Are you retired? I just did at age 70 from being a family practitioner for 40 years and with 40 years of regular Army and Army National Guard history involving 4 deployments. Still playing the trumpet? I have gone to harmonica more.
