OK, hungry Rams! Wanted to remind all of you that our December luncheon will be a week early, because of the holidays, and our busy schedules. So please jot it down:
TIME: 12:30pm
I must be hungry, sounds yummy already. Can't believe it's already December! Come show your festive spirit and enjoy some eats, fun, and catching up! xoxo

For those of you that lived in the Indian Hills neighborhood, I just came across a fellow Classmate from back in Grade School days, that recently passed away !
Rick Quatto was a school friend, but attended East High living on the North side of 1300 South as I recall from many days gone by!
Anyway he passed away back in July in California but Legacy.com has the full obituary listing a celebration of life in Salt Lake on Saturday the 11th !

Our friend Scott Donaldson left this earth a year ago today. Seems like forever since I’ve seen him, he was a great friend. I was finally able to find his final resting place recently. Clark Alvey often revives Donaldson stories for me; yes indeed, he was the man, the myth, the legend!! RIP Scooter!

Had a fun lunch today at Gecko’s! Few in numbers, but we enjoyed each other’s company. We think, however, that because the only menu choices are Mexican, we decided it would be best to go back to Outback, in Sandy, for now. Our lunch in December will be THE 2nd FRIDAY, December 10th, @ 12:30pm. We’ll announce it as it gets closer.
In the meantime, wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!! Xoxo

Have you heard? The DUDLEY lady is back!! It is true, Joan Dudley Oldroyd, and her husband, Jon have moved back to the Salt Lake area (well, Riverton to be exact), permanently. Those of us who know Joan and grew up with her, shared any kind of time with her, are elated! Some of HH gals that have stayed close through the years, some even through elementary days, shared lunch today, I should say feasted today, and Sue Nielsen Thurman's home. It was such a delight, can't think of better words. First time all of us have been together I believe since we had Kay Taylor Alvey with us (at our last little luncheon) maybe 10 years ago. Her are the ladies that were with us today, and we usually have Roger Smedley from class of 67' that shows up, just cuz he's friends with so many of us; Ruthann Hutchinson Johnson, Lori Duncan Boyer, Lanett Williams Dial, Marsha Draper Fryer, Ann Bennion Robinson, Nan Wiscomb Mead, Joan Dudley Oldroyd, Sue Nielsen Thurman. Friendships are golden!! xoxo

Tomorrow is Veterans Day! I took some time and counted 112 Veterans from our class of 1966 that I want to personally thank, some have moved on, but many of you are still living among us. Some gave the supreme sacrifice; we are forever grateful! God Bless the USA!

OK, I'm so guilty of faulty finger deletion! So sorry I accidently deleted the information about our November luncheon at the Gecko! Please forgive, or maybe have some "senior" empathy (ha ha)!
As I had mentioned in the original post, it was suggested we try the Gecko for a change of lunch venue, so that we are going to do! Here is the info, gang:
Friday, November 19th
781 W South Jordan Pkwy
South Jordan, UT (just west off 106th freeway exit)
I hope to see lots of Ram friends there!! xoxo

Hey Rams, Lynda Robinson & Dan Lediard reported to me yesterday that Kyle Dalebout passed away last March! It was the first I had heard of it, so I apologize for this late posting!
The mortuary, Dignity Memorial, did not have an obituary, and it said that Kyle did not have a service at the time he passed, but if anyone hears of an upcoming service, you are welcome to post it here, of course! The only thing that was on the mortuary site was a photo, & a few sweet memories from a daughter and some friends I posted in Kyle's "In Memory" area. RIP, Kyle.

I'm sad to post another In Memory death, Rams! Doug Pulsipher passed away in September, but his obit was in yesterday's paper. He was such a fun guy at Highland, and in reading his obit, he accomplished many interesting things! RIP, my friend!

Brent Long has left an In Memory comment for Josie Koulis Browning.
