Married my high school sweetheart, John Brooks in January 1968.
We had a precious daughter, Christy, born January 6 , 1971. She graduated from OSU and got her masters from OU. She teaches school in Texas and was married March 7 of this year to Scott Ishmael.

Unfortunately, John and I divorced many moons ago but will always be friends and he will forever be special to me. I married Matt Nail in Tulsa on May 15, 1987. October 23, 1988 we had a daughter, Lindsay. She married and had a baby boy, Roman, who was born May 29, 2010 with a rare liver disease called biliary atresia and received a successful liver transplant; however, he caught an adenovirus in the hospital following the transplant. He died in my arms on March 25, 2011. He was 10 months old. I truly and honestly thought I would not live through the pain of his loss. The only thing that gave me any strength at all is knowing I will see him and hold him again one day.

God blessed Lindsay with a precious daughter on Nov 10, 2012. Her name is Sadie after my grandmother. She is beautiful and adorable, and she brings great joy to our family.

My husband, Matt, works for American Airlines here in Tulsa. We've been married 28 years. He was with me at the only reunion I have attended - 20th? He's 11 years younger than me! We belong to and attend Asbury United Methodist Church where we were married those 28 years ago. We live in a little bungalow in Midtown Tulsa that was built in 1930. God has tested us and blessed us and He will always be with us.
School Story

I can't forget my horrible big hair and dress with huge blue flowers for the senior prom. And Ms. Alberti? for English (don't remember learning a thing and don't know how I passed the class) and the irony that I majored in English at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and taught senior English and British literature at Union High School in Tulsa. My passion was Shakespeare and Hamlet. Imagine that!

It does sound like you are having a great life. I am so happy for you. I would love to see you. I hope you have an incredible birthday.

I have two beautiful grandchildren, Sadie who is 12 and Micah who is 8. They are wonderful kids. They did go through a hard time not long ago when their dad, Tyler, was shot and killed by his brother on Sadie's birthday, 11/10/23. It was mistaken identity. Don't know if I talked to you since Matt had cancer. It was a very bad time, but he is doing great now. The kiddos are amazing and are doing well now. Micah makes straight A's; Sadie has struggled some since her dad was killed, but she is coming around in 6th grade. She is absolutely beautiful and looks 15 rather than 12.

Hi Jack - I hope that you have a nice birthday. You looked so great at the Friday night reunion dinner. And I was so glad that I got to see and visit with Sandy for a couple of minutes.. Bless you sweet man. I know you have had some hard and sad times. I pray that your life will be blessed with God's grace and the love of family and lots of friends.

I had not been to a reunion in years due to living in Tulsa.  I am so glad that we attended the Friday night get-together this time because I saw Jack and Sandra.  She was precious.  I know that Jack and her friends and family will miss her so much.  Prayers to you Jack.
