I have enjoyed SCHOOL forever. Guess that's why I became a teacher. I have 2 degrees from SWT and PH.D from TTU. Spent a lot of time promoting Fine Arts
Education, and the inclusion of Fine Arts in a balanced K-12 curriculum. Was active in Texas Art Education Association as well as National Art Education Association..
Retired now since 2002 and living on a ranch in the hill country with Jim, cats, a dog, a pond of fish, and wildlife. We have no cattle/ horses, as we have returned this property back to a natural habitat of plants and animals.
We have 3 girls and Jim's 2 boys, 4 grandchildren, and 2 pretty fine hot rods.....37 Ford Flatbed, and 33 Chevy(chopped and shaved, 309 Mustang powered)
School Story

School was great. I loved band, and all my friends there. Being a class officer was a privilege. Miss Schuette's class had a great group of students. I heard Mrs. Waskow say Damn. The 7 day duration of the advanced class in senior level Chemistry with the SMARTEST kids in the class, gave me permanent insecurity. I thought the slide rule was the dumbest ruler I ever used...or in my case....could Not use. WHY was I there?? Thank goodness it was closed, and I went to an Art class.
