On Saturday, at our 50th Class Reunion, we will be having two silent auctions for these two flags to fund two scholarships, for two MacArthur Seniors.

The flags were secured from Congressman Pete Sessions (a Churchill graduate), representing the 17th District of Texas (Waco and surrounding areas). Pete is currently a Senior Member on the House Financial Services Committee and is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Both certificates read as follows:

"In celebration of the 75th anniversay of its original founding as North East Rural High School. This flag was proudly flown on July 4th to coincide with the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America as a tribute to our nation's enduring legacy of freedom, education, innovation, and opportunity. May this flag serve as a lasting reminder of our shared history, the sacrifices made to preserve our freedoms, and the promise of an even brigher future for the next generation of Americans."

Continuing with:

"In witness thereof and pursuant to the authority vested in me, I have hereunder set my hand and seal of the office. This 16th day of October 2026."

Please be generous in your bidding, remembering that 100% of the money will go toward helping two graduating Seniors pursue their passions after high school.

Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted as payment.
