On behalf of the entire Class of 1976, this flag will be presented to MacArthur High School. It will be on display this Saturday at our 50th Class Reunion.

The flags were secured from Congressman Pete Sessions (a Churchill graduate), representing the 17th District of Texas (Waco and surrounding areas). Pete is currently a Senior Member on the House Financial Services Committee and is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The certificate reads as follows:

"In celebration of the 50th anniversay of the graduating class of 1976, this flag was proudly flown on July 4th to coincide with the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America as a tribute to our nation's enduring legacy of freedom, education, innovation, and opportunity. May this flag serve as a lasting reminder of our shared history, the sacrifices made to preserve our freedoms, and the promise of an even brigher future for the next generation of Americans."

Continuing with:

"In witness thereof and pursuant to the authority vested in me, I have hereunder set my hand and seal of the office. This 16th day of October 2026."
