Class Notes (7/26/12)
- Noa Lisa Padowitz attended SDJA until '90. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois and her favorite SDJA memory is the sixth grade Yosemite trip.
- Dan Zagursky attended SDJA until '92. He curently has two children and is on the Alumni Board. His fondest memories from SDJA are making lifelong friends.
- Nicole Weil attended SDJA's San Carlos Campus until '94. She is an immigration attorney who helps businesses and families seeking visas and green cards. She has appeared on Mexican National Radio talking about immigration and the Jewish community in the United States. You can view her blog here.
- Lindy First attended SDJA until '96. She is a doctor of physical therapy and currently resides in San Diego, California. She is married to Matt Rinkey and has a son named Louie and a dog named Onyx.
Do you remember?...
- In 1991, SDJA received certification from the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS).
- In 1994, Michael Kessel became SDJA's first headmaster.
- In 1998, a capital campaign was initiated to build the Jaffe Campus.
- In 1999, contruction started on the Jaffe Campus.
- In 2000, Larry Acheatel became the executive director.
- In 2000, Maimonides Upper School opened and Dr. Jeff Davis became the Maimonides Upper School principal.
