Class Notes (7/26/12)
- Brett Jaffe '05 currently works for Google and is living in San Francisco, California. His fondest memories from SDJA are playing football and basketball.
- Xany Leon '07 recently went to Israel with a one-way ticket. She is living in Jerusalem, Israel, learning in a seminary and applying to grad-school at Hebrew University. Her fondest memory from SDJA is the Senior Trip to Israel.
- Micah Frank '09 assistant directed the Broadway play Ghetto Klown in March 2011. He currently lives in New York City and his fondest memories from SDJA are the lower school and graduation.
- Leal Naim '09 is interning for MTV and is on his way to becoming an executive producer. He lives in San Diego, California and his fondest memories from SDJA are the Senior Trip to Israel, meeting his best friends for life and living with three other SDJA graduates.
- Emily Kruger '10 is the first SDJA alumnus to intern at SDJA. She is currently a graphic design intern, works at a day care and attends the University of Arizona.
- Taylor Rivkin '10 is at Ohio Wesleyan University, double majoring in psychology and exercise science. In addition, Taylor is minoring in sociology and works as a personal trainer at Urban Active Fitness.

- In 2001, the Jaffe Campus opened.
- In 2002, SDJA students formed the first eight-man Jewish high school football team in the U.S.
- In 2003, the first senior class graduated.
- In 2005, SDJA raised 30 tons of supplies for Hurricane Katrina victims.
- In 2006, the Butterfly Project was created, seeking to create 1.5 million ceramic butterflies to memorialize the Jewish children killed in the Holocaust.
- In 2007, the students built 550 wheelchairs for the disabled in Mexico.
- In 2008, the school opened its new 35,000 square foot gymnasium.
- In 2010, SDJA raised over 20 tons of supplies and $180,000 in medical supplies for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
