Scott worked with us for the 20th reunion and was such fun. He was always fun, cheerful, and happy. I'm sure he's in heaven, smiling. And, Kathy Larsen said he was her junior high sweetheart - now they are together. Hugs to both of them!

Scott and I took a history class together and we were pretty competitive as I remember. We hung out once in awhile and I have good memories of a few lively parties he attended. Sorry he's no longer with us.

Scott was a special person. In addition to his personable demeanor and insights about the human spirit, he spent much of his life helping others, later in his life as the principal at Laguna Continuation High School. After his death in January of 2003, the Teen Counseling Project there was renamed in his honor. In this way, his unique contribution to the teens of Sonoma County is recognizeand continues his commitment and caring. He is missed by all.

As I was looking at all the names in the list, Scott's stood out. I found a note he wrote to me in my yearbook. I had to laugh - in it he said that I would be in much better shape if I gave up boys and he if he gave up girls! Apparently, we were close friends and we talked often to help each other. I am sad to learn of his passing.

Okay, so I have waited years to post about Scott. We were best friends growing up and all through High School. He lived 2 houses away from me in Marinwood. We did everything together, and even had our own phrases and passwords to communicate things. I decided to go U.C. Davis after getting out of the Army because he was there and encouraged me to go. My heart broke when Aurelio told me he had ended his own own life. He was a wonderful person, and looking back on it, I can see that he was troubled by certain things his whole life. If you want to talk about Scott, I plan to be at the 50th reunion. Please seek me out. Thanks, Phil.

Missing Scott all over again reading these posts. I had planned to be at the reunion this year, but Karen and I are in the middle of caring for her elderly mother (her dad recently died), and cannot get away for the reunion. Any who wish to talk about Scott can message me through this forum.

Thanks - Phil
