Christina E. Jahrling Age 55, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2016. She was born on June 22,1960 to Robert and Maud (Klinte) Jahrling in San Francisco, CA. She graduated from Terra Linda High School in 1978 and attended Santa Rosa Community College. Tina worked as a bank teller and other office positions until a disability in 2002. Christina is survived by her father; brother, Mark; sister, Jill Tuerffs; and many more loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, stepmother, long time sweetheart Jack Nancarrow and her beloved cats Sabrina and T.C. May you find comfort in the arms of the angels.

Tina and I met the 3rd day of science class our freshman year. We started a water fight and were sent to the Principals Office where we told the same story. From then on we were best friends and were inseperable. We both had phones in our rooms and would fall asleep talking on them then who ever woke first would wake the other by whistling into the phone. After I got my car I would drive from my house in TL to Marinwood to pick her up then back to TL for school. We used to pick up a loaf of french bread and some american cheese then drive out to the ocean and sit talking and eating hoping to see a whale.
At one point she was working at Crocker Bank in Fairfax and I was living on the hill overlooking the bank when she would take a break she would go outside for a ciggarette and call me, I would go out on my balcony for a ciggarette and we would wave to each other and she would come up on her lunch break for y0u guessed it french bread and cheese. We were roommates several times over the years, my kids new her as Aunt Tina, she was living with me in the CrossRoads when I had Misty, my second child.
High School was such an important part of growing up and having your best friend right there side by side from day 3 to cap and gown is special. To still be close friends 40 years later is a gift. She was one of those friends that no matter how long it had been since we saw each other we would pick up like it had been hours not months or years.
