After graduating from UF in 1979 with a degree in Building Construction I moved back to Sarasota and worked for Ron Royal Construction for 4 years. I then decided to move to Atlanta and find work. I worked as a project manager for Gilly Building Corp for 8 years and moved to VP. At that time I decided to start my own construction firm in 1991, The Martin Construction Group. That is made of up Martin Concrete Construction, Full Tilt Cranes services, Martin Concrete Finishing and MC Ready-Mix. Martin Concrete specializes in heavy industrial concrete structures acting as a subcontractor to lager GC's throughout the SE. Full Tilt Crane Services owns and operates 2ea 300 ton cranes for heavy lifting operations and MC Ready-Mix consists of 2ea large portable concrete producing plants that we move around the SE for our projects. We also have Marland Property Group which develops and leases office and warehouse space to other companies. We recently open our 2nd office which is in Nashville.
